Rules For Acceptance Of Advertisements

  1. All advertisements should be in accordance with our code of standards, state laws, Indian Newspaper Society (INS) rules, Advertising Standards Council of India rules (ASCI) and everything contained therein.

  2. We cannot be held responsible for any claims arising from the publication or otherwise of an advertisement.

  3. In case of any descrepancy between the actual rates and those on the release order, advertisement will be billed at the prevailing rate as and when the advertisment is being published and not at the rate mentioned in the realease order.

  4. Complaints on advertisements, if any must be brought to our notice within 7 days of publication.

  5. Reproduction quality of advertisement published from laser print/ artwork provided by any client/ agency shall be the responsibility of the agency/ client.

  6. Obituary advertisements will require a copy of the death certificate along with release instructions.

  7. Cancellations, if any will be billed at 50% of the card rate if not intimated 10 days in advance for the colour and 2 days in advance for B&W advertisements.

  8. The classified schemes apply only to unaltered Lineage/ Classified display advertisements. In case of cancellation, the benefit of the free advertisement will not be available.
