BoB's international debit card out

Joining the debit card bandwagon was the Bank of Baroda (BoB) who launched their international debit card at the Oberoi Towers yesterday. The international debit card is brought into the market in association with Visa international. BoB is expecting two million customers in three years.

The launch function was presided by topnotch officials of BoB and Visa including P.S.Shenoy, chairman and managing director, Dr. A.K. Khandelwal, executive director and Santanu Mukherjee, country manager - Visa international.

Reaching out to its international customers, the card will have a direct electronic access to the customer's bank accounts from any where in the world and they in turn can avail of the convenience, security and versatility of the signature-based Visa electro debit product.

This card will be an additional delivery channel for the bank's customers and will provide them with unsurpassed global acceptance.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr. P.S. Shenoy remarked, "This is a very significant moment for Bank of Baroda and it is another step in extending the most valued services to our customers."

The bank works closely with its members to establish stringent risk and credit management practices by leveraging its global risk.
